Thanks to the pandemic, I am offering greatly reduced rates again this Fall for distance Reiki and other in-absentia healing modalities. The sessions can be used to address physical issues, stress, emotional issues, and many other situations. Energy healing works well on both people and animals.
Those prices are roughly half price, and I’m only promising to use them through December 31, 2020. Hopefully, in 2021, I’ll be able to earn a living at normal prices again. However, lots of people are in severe financial straits, so we’ll see.

However, most people prefer the option in which I do it without your knowledge. Afterward, I’ll send you an emailed report about what it was like, along with any suggestions that may come to mind. What Is Reiki?
Let’s start by answering the question, “What is Reiki?” Reiki (pronounced “Ray-Key”) means “Universal Life Force.” Since the word is Japanese, it is difficult to get an exactly correct definition, but here’s the gist. “Rei” is “higher intelligence” or “god-wisdom” or “infinite, all-knowing intelligence.” “Ki” is similar to “chi” – the non-physical energy which animates all living beings (human, animal, insect, plant, etc.). So the idea is that it is Universal Life Force and Life-Giving Energy.
Do I Always Use Reiki for In-Absentia Healing?
When I do in-absentia healing, I might use Reiki, but there are many times when I am guided to use some other technique, always calling upon the highest, purest, most loving, and even divine energies which serve only the highest good for all concerned and which are what is most needed by the specific person with whom I’m working. Quite often, it becomes a combination of Reiki and other healing modalities.
Do You Have to “Believe In” Reiki or Healing for it to Work? What About Animals?
It works on animals, as well! I have five cats who could testify to this if only you could speak their language! So, the answer is “no.” Animals just “know.” They sense the energy and are drawn to it. They want it. When allowed in the room during a session, they often place themselves under the Reiki table until the treatment has ended.
At the time of this writing, I have not been asked to do in-absentia healing on animals. But I know that, when you work directly on them with your hands, they also absorb the healing energy much more quickly than humans. You’ll know when they’re ready for you to stop because they will move away when they’ve had enough. I’ve actually had some appear to thank me! So, when people ask me whether they have to believe in it for it to work, I point out the fact that the animals have no such belief system.
“Messages” Received During In-Absentia Healing
I cannot read your mind. And, I certainly do not want to! (I have enough to do in reading my own mind!) And, I always ask (“Divine Guidance”) that the only information given to me to share with you in this process is that which serves the highest good for all concerned.
Sometimes I don’t get any messages. At other times, words, images, or physical sensations are given to me for interpretation. Often the messages come to me from your own body and its movements. By that, I mean that my body feels the same kind of pain that you are experiencing in the same place in your body. Alternatively, it means that the symptoms you are experiencing are symbolic of an issue that we can identify and address. If that is the case, it is likely that I not only will share this with you, but I’ll teach you a bit about how you can begin to “read your own body” so that you can enhance your own self-healing and self-discovery processes.
